Auto Upgrade

Paid accounts on budget billing can opt in to auto upgrade. When spend in the current billing cycle reaches 90% of your monthly budget, Pingram moves the account to the next tier and charges the difference to the card on file.

Enable auto upgrade

  1. Open Settings → Plan.
  2. Turn on Auto upgrade.

The switch is available on paid accounts with an active subscription. It is not available on the free tier or on custom (legacy) plans.

How it works

  • The trigger is 90% of the monthly budget for the current billing cycle.
  • Email, SMS, voice, calls, in-app, and dedicated number rent all draw from the same budget.
  • Each trigger moves you one tier (for example $20 → $50, then $50 → $100).
  • The invoice charges the full monthly difference immediately (for example $20 → $50 is $30).
  • It can fire more than once in the same cycle. After an upgrade, the next trigger is 90% of the new budget.
TIP

If a single send jumps far past 90%, you still move only one tier. The next upgrade waits until spend reaches 90% of the new budget.

Scheduled downgrades

If you already scheduled a lower tier for the end of the cycle, an auto upgrade cancels that pending change. The new higher budget becomes current immediately.

Turn it off

Turn Auto upgrade off on the same Plan page. The current budget stays in place; later crossings of 90% will not change your plan.

Account owners receive an email after each auto upgrade, with a link back to Plan settings.
